Terms of use
CS-MOVIES provides a customized subscription service that allows our members to access entertainment content (“CS-MOVIES Content”) via the Internet to certain televisions, computers and other Internet-enabled devices (“CS-MOVIES Eligible Devices”).
These Terms of Use apply to your use of our Service. In these Terms of Use, references to the “CS-MOVIES Service”, “CS-MOVIES Service”, “our Service” or “the Service” refer to the personal service provided by CS-MOVIES that allows members to discover and access CS-MOVIES Content, including all features, recommendations and reviews, our websites and user interfaces, and all content and software associated with the Service.
1. Membership
1.1. Your CS-MOVIES membership runs until it is terminated. To use the CS-MOVIES service, you need internet access, a CS-MOVIES compatible device and a payment method. “Payment Method” means a current, valid and recognised payment method, which may be updated at any time, and which may include payment via your Third Party Account. Unless you cancel your membership before the billing date, you authorise us to deduct the membership fee for the following billing period via the payment method provided (see “Cancellation” below).
2. Promotional offer
2.1. We may from time to time offer special promotional offers, subscriptions or memberships (“Offers”). CS-MOVIIES will determine, in its sole discretion, whether the conditions of the offer are met, and we reserve the right to revoke an offer and suspend your account if we determine that you do not meet the conditions. Members in households with an existing or recent CS-MOVIES membership may not qualify for certain introductory offers. We may use information such as device ID, payment method or an account email address used with an existing or new CS-MOVIES membership to determine whether you qualify for the offer. Terms and other restrictions and conditions will be disclosed when you register for the offer or in other communications made available to you.
3. Invoicing and unsubscription
3.1. Billing period. We will bill you for the membership fee for the CS-MOVIES service via your Payment Method on the enrollment payment date, . The length of your billing period depends on the type of subscription you chose when you signed up for the service. In some cases, the billing date may change, for example if a payment has not been made, if you change your subscription, or if the payment service membership started on a date that does not exist in a given month.
3.2. Payment methods. To use the CS-MOVIES service, you must specify a payment method. You authorize us to collect payments using any payment method associated with your Account in the event that your primary payment method is rejected or is no longer available to us for payment of your subscription fee. You are liable for any unclaimed amounts. If a payment cannot be completed due to card expiry, insufficient funds or otherwise and you do not delete your Account, we may suspend your access to the Service until we have collected payment via a valid payment method. For some payment methods, the issuer may charge you certain fees, for example for foreign transactions or other fees related to the processing of the payment method. Local taxes may vary depending on the payment method used. Please contact the issuer of the payment method for further information.
3.3. Unsubscribe. You can cancel your CS-MOVIES membership at any time. You will not have access to the CS-MOVIES service upon unsubscription. Payments will not be refunded and we do not provide refunds or credit for partially used membership periods or unused CS-MOVIES content. To unsubscribe, go to the “Account” page and follow the unsubscribe instructions. If you cancel your membership, your account will be automatically closed.
3.4. Price and subscription changes. We may change our subscriptions and their prices from time to time. However, price changes or subscription changes will apply at the earliest 30 days after you have been notified.
4. CS-MOVIES service
4.1. You must be at least 18 years old to join the CS-MOVIES service.
4.2. The CS-MOVIES Service and the content accessed through the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared with anyone other than those living in your household. As long as you have a CS-MOVIES membership, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the CS-MOVIES Service and CS-MOVIES Content. Apart from the above, no right, title or interest is transferred to you. You agree that you may not use the Service for public viewing.
4.3. The CS-MOVIES service, including its content, is updated on an ongoing basis. In addition, we continuously test various aspects of our service, including our websites, user interfaces, promotions and the availability of CS-MOVIES content.
4.4. You agree not to archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, sell or use (except as expressly permitted in these Terms of Use) any content or information contained in or obtained from or through the CS-MOVIES Service. You also agree that you may not: circumvent, remove, modify, disable, impair, or impede the content protections of the CS-MOVIES Service; gain access to the CS-MOVIES Service by means of a robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means; decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software or other products or processes available through the CS-MOVIES Service; insert any code, products, or manipulate the content of the CS-MOVIES Service in any way; or engage in any data mining, data collection, or data extraction. In addition, you agree not to upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit any material that is intended to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment connected to the CS-MOVIES Service, including any software virus or other computer code, files or programs. We may stop or restrict your use of our service if you breach these terms of use or engage in illegal or fraudulent use of the service.
4.5. The picture quality of CS-MOVIES content may vary from device to device and may be affected by several factors, such as your location, the available bandwidth through and/or the speed of your internet connection. You are responsible for all internet access charges. Check with your ISP for information on any data charges. The time it takes for CS-MOVIES content to launch will vary depending on a number of factors, such as your location, available bandwidth, the content selected and the configuration of your CS-MOVIES compatible device.
4.6. The CS-MOVIES Software is developed by or for CS-MOVIES and may only be used for authorized streaming and access to CS-MOVIES Content via CS-MOVIES compatible devices. This software may vary by device and media, and functionality may also differ from device to device. You acknowledge that use of the Service may require third-party software that is subject to third-party licenses.
5. Passwords and account access
5.1The member who created the CS-MOVIES account and whose payment method is being charged (“account owner”) is responsible for any activity that occurs through the CS-MOVIES account. In order to maintain control over the account and prevent others from gaining access to it (which would include information about playback history on the account), the account owner should maintain control over the CS-MOVIES-compatible devices used to access the service and not disclose the password or payment method details associated with the account to others. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide to us about your Account. We may terminate or suspend your account to protect you, CS-MOVIES or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
6. Miscellaneous
6.1. Applicable law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. These Terms will not limit any consumer rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
6.2. Unsolicited material. CS-MOVIES does not accept unsolicited material or ideas for CS-MOVIES content and is not responsible for the similarity of any of its content or programming in any media to material or ideas submitted to CS-MOVIES.
6.3. Validity. If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use are found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
6.4. Changes to the Terms of Use. CS-MOVIES may, from time to time, modify these Terms of Use. We will notify you at least 30 days before such changes take effect.
6.5. Electronic communication. We will send you information about your account (e.g. payment authorizations, invoices, password or payment method changes, confirmation messages, notices) only in electronic form, e.g. via e-mails to the e-mail address you provided when registering.
